This client had very little exposure to search engines for important keywords that drive relevant leads to their business such as “Chicago tuckpointing”, “commercial tuckpointing”, “tuckpointing contractors” and more. Lack of exposure from organic search results for competitive phrases led to minimal user sessions from organic search.
We researched the popular and relevant keywords for the clients industry and added content to the website where appropriate. Tasks also included updated page descriptions and titles to be more informative and attract customers to click through to the site from search results.
With backlinks being important to Google’s algorithm for keyword rankings, we acquired relevant industry backlinks and niche blogs to build domain trust.
Since the client had a local physical office, it was crucial that we create and optimize a Google My Business account which helps for local search traffic and the ability to have your business show in Google’s map pack. Very important for local companies and helps you stand out in the crowd!
By focusing on important keywords during the year and monitoring ranking progress in conjunction with continual website traffic analysis, we compared full current year data versus previous years data which showed Google keyword rankings increase across the board while traffic was up over 264% in new user visits in and continues to grow with new content and continual optimizations.
